In the list we’ve enclosed the English names in parentheses to make them easier to identify for other nationalities.
Combed cotton
This material is created by treating the cotton with a special, fine brush in order to straighten the fibers and remove the shorter ones, making the material softer and stronger.
Jersey
A comfortable, stretchy fabric that can be synthetic or cotton.
Natural cotton
Cotton grown without the use of fertilizers and pesticides. It is usually softer and more expensive than treated cotton.
Polyester
A synthetic material that has the advantage of creasing less and retaining its size well. The downside being the material doesn’t breathe as well as natural materials.
Canvas (linen)
A material made from flax. Being natural, linen wears in quickly thanks to its comfortable and textured weaving. The downside being that it wrinkles easily.
